Not quite yet!

Okay, so sorry you all! The menu posted starts on the 25th because that is our pay day. I usually make something very simple on the day of shopping as I usually go in the late evening, when Matt is home. I also don't plan a menu for Sunday, because this is my 'day off' of cooking. Anything I make is usually simple and unplanned. We sometimes go out on Sundays as well, or do Pizza. So this is why Sunday's will be blank.
A note on fasting. You may see fish on Wednesday's and Friday's and I apologize if that day is not a fish day. I try to do the best that I can. I can't usually get my kids to eat a variety of fasting foods, but they love fish. As long as it's wild, (no joke) and it is dipped in ranch! I swear, if there is a food my kids don't like I try giving them one of three dips, and Viola! They eat!
A note about my lack of Gourmet. I do sometimes cook some more involved meals, ones that are tried and true and worth the effort. But for the most part I cook very simply. Meals that take no longer than 30 minutes or 10 or less ingredients are my best friends. If you have small children you will understand this. Or if you just don't like to spend all day in the kitchen. My meals may not always be diet friendly either, or 100% organic, but I do try, and mostly I just try to make things that are kid friendly, or foods that MY kids will like. I have some picky eaters as well as children that eat very little. So this is the way I do it.
Grilling is my cooking of choice in the summer. It is a must do here in Cali. Once it hits 100 degrees here it usually sticks for a the rest of the summer.
